Our Team

Our mission, as award winning designers is to create exceptional spaces that give our clients unforgettable experiences. Each project is carefully studied and spatial designed to accommodate the specific program for each project, whether it's spatial design in the residential, urban, institutional or playground environments, we approach each project with a very deep sense of ecological responsibility as designers of the land. We are a vibrant company that utilizes the latest design technologies, and our extensive experience has given us knowledge to take any project from concept to completion while working with multiple facets of budgeting & time constraints.

Our Design Studio

Located on the prestigious North Shore of Long Island also known as the “Gold Coast”, our design studio is near many of the surrounding areas that are well known for the lavish estates and properties. Our design studio is also a quick ride to the 5 boroughs of New York City. We are located on Northern Blvd. across the street from the historic Rothmann’s Steak House and local landmark The East Norwich Inn.

Meet
Michael Rosano

Michael Rosano, ASLA has over 20 years of professional experience in high end residential design/ build, commercial, urban & municipal design. His experience also includes business development, client coordination, marketing, conceptual program development, construction documentation, bidding, project management, and construction administration & design staff management.

 

He has won multiple awards for excellence in design and construction and his work has been published in numerous publications. Michael is often a guest lecturer and design critique judge for students in the Urban Horticulture & Design program at Farmingdale State College.

Michael holds degrees from two of the leading collegiate study programs in the field of Landscape Architecture. One is an Associate of Applied Science in Ornamental Horticulture/Landscape Development from SUNY Farmingdale and the other a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia where he graduated in 2002 after completing a 9 week studies abroad program traveling and studying the great architecture, gardens and public spaces in London England, Interlaken Switzerland and throughout the Tuscany region of Italy.

His professional experience includes Brooklyn Borough supervisor with the Landscape Construction division for the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, where he oversaw construction on numerous projects throughout the borough. Such high profile projects include Brooklyn Bridge Park.
 

Michael also held a design position with the world renowned design firm of MPFP, LLC (M. Paul Friedberg & Partners, Manhattan office) where he was the Project Architect for the Randall’s-Ward Island Master Plan, a multimillion dollar park renovation.

Michael is a long standing member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and served on the Board of Directors for LINLA (Long Island Nursery & Landscape Association) from 2015-2019. He also currently serves on the Landscape Awards Committee were he is the co-chair and helps facilitate the annual LINLA design & build competition where companies across Long Island submit their design entries showcasing outstanding examples of landscape design and construction.
